Sit, Relax, Read

Join our drop-in puppy or adolescent classes on Thusdays.  Each class focuses on a specific skill, like sit, come, or leash pulling.

Why training is important

Training is an essential part of owning a pup and can be started at any age.  Training builds confidence, provides mental stimulation, and strengthens the human-animal bond.  Pups are always learning.  It is never too late to start training!

Just for Puppies

The sooner you can socialize your puppy the better prepared he or she will be for the world’s fascinating opportunities.  By maintaining a rolling admission, your puppy can sign up as soon as he or she is qualified.  We maintain the highest health standards and puppies must have had their first puppy distemper/parvo and Bordetella vaccinations, and have lived with their family for a minimum of seven days. We will email you our health protocols as soon as you register. Unless otherwise noted, classes are not for aggressive dogs. If your dog has shown aggression, please let us know. We welcome a maximum of 2 adult handlers per class.  All classes are capped at five students to assure personalized care and understanding.

While canine fitness can help transform your dog into a well-oiled machine, a young puppy’s developing body is too delicate to participate in high-impact, repetitive exercise like cardio and strength training.  For that reason, this puppy class focuses on the foundational aspects of canine fitness that can accelerate your dog’s growth and development, while having fun and building your bond with your puppy.
